MLB The Show 26 is introducing several new updates to Diamond Dynasty:
The World Baseball Classic returns in MLB The Show 26, allowing Diamond Dynasty squads to compete through the official tournament bracket against real World Baseball Classic national teams from around the world within Mini Seasons.
The mode will also feature World Baseball Classic–themed player cards, a WBC-themed Diamond Quest map, themed programs with dozens of player rewards, and a Moonshot-style event set in the Tokyo Dome.
Players can now customize the length of Diamond Dynasty Mini Seasons, choosing between three- or nine-inning games and either seven- or 28-game seasons. The mode also includes revamped stat tracking to provide greater control over gameplay pace and progression.
Diamond Dynasty receives a full visual refresh, including sharper menus and redesigned collection screens, along with expanded opportunities to earn rare cards.
Parallel XP has been redesigned for MLB The Show 26. Hitters now progress alongside pitchers, and players can reach Parallel 5 faster than before. Parallel Mods also allow players to customize attribute boosts, either strengthening weaknesses or enhancing existing strengths. Higher difficulty settings and online play accelerate progress toward Parallel 5.
