MLB The Show 24 Ranking New Legends Player Tier List
Welcome to our MLB The Show 22 Legends Player Rankings. We've put every player into a tier based on how good their card is, how cool they are as a Legend, and if their endgame version will be any good. Let's see who hits home runs and who doesn't.
- S-Tier: The Very Best
- A-Tier: Boppers with Drawbacks
- B-Tier: Sleepers
- C-Tier: You'll Want Them Just for the Story
↖ S-Tier: The Very Best
Rafael Palmeiro - Over 3,000 hits and over 500 home runs. Balanced hitting. Solid defense. You have to get Palmeiro.
Josh Gibson - They say he hit hundreds of home runs in one season but that's probably not true!
Adrian Beltre - Went into the Hall of Fame this year! Should have an awesome card (hopefully not too expensive).
↖ A-Tier: Boppers with Drawbacks
- Richie Sexson - Beast at the plate for a few years up here in Milwaukee for us at SB Nation. Put some balls out of Miller Park that I'm pretty sure haven't landed yet.
- Johan Santana - Depending on what type of pitches are most valuable within the game's meta, this pitching tier list could look significantly different.
- Andrew Miller - Dude had such a weird delivery but was completely unhittable against lefties back then.
↖ B-Tier: Sleepers
- Tony Oliva - Didn't expect to see him make it at all this year but he could be sneaky good in Diamond Dynasty because he is just plain hard to strikeout with those contact stats being so high.
- Rich Aurilia - One really standout season back in 2001 but overall career numbers aren't going to blow anyone away.
- Buck Leonard - Gibson's teammate in the NGL was also really good and should have some terrifying power when he drops.
- Andy Pettitte - Same deal as Johan Santana, finesse pitcher with nasty changeup
↖ C-Tier: You'll Want Them Just for the Story
- Tony Stone - I'm not sure what her stats will look like yet but she has such an inspiring story that it'd feel wrong to have her lower than C-tier until we can see how good she is.
- Paul O'Neill - Not a superstar by any means and his power numbers don't jump off the page, but he could be decent for you if your lineup needs help in right field where there isn't much other options.
- John Kruk - Not much power at positions where you need power from guys (first base and outfield) so there's definitely better ones out there if that's what you're looking for.
- Brian Dozier - Dozier doesn't have any standout skills that would justify a better ranking than this, despite just retiring last year after nine seasons (and an All-Star appearance).
- Bernie Williams - He isn't really known for his power, but it looks like he hits pretty well from both sides of the plate. Williams might be a decent third or fourth outfielder option.
In conclusion, each new Legend in MLB The Show 24's Diamond Dynasty can bring something unique to your team. Whether they're superstars at the top of the line-up or more modest additions, Legends can change your team dynamics and give you a fresh experience.
